Intel Core 2 Quad/Extreme Binning/Overclocking Guide to 4.5GHz in 2021

Got a few CPUs to test recently from another user on out Finnish tech site/forum so thanks to Aleksi/SomeoldFart on HWBOT for lending me these CPUs although it took a while. So partly as a note for myself I decided to make a quick binning/overclocking guide video for these Core 2 Quad/Extreme CPUs using this QX9650 as an example.

My own opinion is that a very good Yorkfield Extreme CPU will hit 4.5GHz in simple workload tests like wPrime, Pifast and Super PI 32M with 1.4x VCore or less. I generally prefer Pifast nowadays on LGA775 socket as it is harder to pass than wPrime for example, and gives a very quick idea on overall stability. When searching for daily capable speeds I would recommend using LinX or Prime 95.

Sadly this CPU required 1.51-1.52v for 4.5 so it is for sure worse than my previous one I used for a few record scores in the QX9650 hardware category.
