Lion Vs Wildebeest

A wildebeest is being chased by a lion in this video and just when the lion is about to snatch it, the wildebeest has an idea which is to turn around and become the predator, just for a few seconds. And guess what? It works! The wildebeest chases the lion and forces it to concede and abandon the hunt. It’s always nice to see the underdog get a victory occasionally. Wildebeest are often hunted by lions, and they are often killed, but one-on-one, they sometimes manage to escape at times. In this video, a seemingly certain kill turns into a fiasco for this lioness. Wildebeest are quite capable of defending themselves and this bull manages to fend the lioness off and escape. This wildebeest is in big trouble and there is no way it is getting out of this predicament, right? Wrong! The animal uses its strength and the young lion’s inexperience to eventually wiggle itself out of a headlock and escape.

Lion Vs Porcupine

This porcupine comes across a pride of lions in the middle of the night. The lions are inquisitive but not overly aggressive towards the porcupine as they examine it in search of a vulnerable spot. The number of participants in the pride increases, but the outcome does not change. The lions make the decision to move on and not bother the porcupine any further. The porcupine is a succulent treat, and these inquisitive lions are looking for a way to get a paw under the animal so they can turn it over. However, this is not an easy task because the prickly porcupine is agile and knows how to move. The young animals conclude that the danger is not worth the reward, so they decide to let the spiny creature run along and watch, as it continues its journey. These lions are cautious when they try to grab this porcupine because they are aware that the quills can hurt them. Hence, instead of trying to kill the animal, they decide to lie down next to it, and hang out.
