Tiger Attacks Wild Boar

Tigers will hunt wild boar if they must, but the wild boar is not an easy prey to capture, so if there is something more appealing on the menu, tigers will avoid hunting wild boar. Nonetheless, the tiger is such a powerful hunter that no matter what animal it targets in the wild, it’s almost a sure kill. The tiger in this video spots a few wild boars in a marsh, and when he gets going, the boars run and spread in different directions, but the one that tries to outrun the feline is flanked, caught, and killed. Tigers will hunt whatever they find when they are on the prowl. This tiger decided to have wild boar for lunch and killing it must not have been easy, but very doable nonetheless, for such a powerful cat. It seems like the tiger in this video wants to play with a warthog, but the warthog isn’t interested, because it knows what playing means for the feline. But the big cat tells the warthog “Get over here! Don’t worry, this isn’t going to hurt.” Yeah, right! The average weight of a tiger is about 700 lbs. They consume an average of 35-110 pounds of meat at any given time, so hunting a pudgy wild boar like the one in this video will certainly satisfy the big cat's appetite for at least a few days.

Jaguar Attacks Capybara

Two jaguar orphans team up to take down a capybara. The two cats jump into the water and chase the large rodent. After a little chasing around, the cats grab the rodent and drag him out of the water, prepping him for lunch. What’s peculiar about this video is that the jaguar is standing in the water with a capybara already swimming behind the big cat, but the jaguar has all his attention on the capybara sitting on the beach. Unfortunately, when he goes for the kill, he misses, and the largest rodent in the world escapes. Jaguars in the Pantanal, in Brazil, feed mainly on caimans and crocodiles, but they do catch capybaras from time to time. In this incredible video, the Capybaras were just too close to the Jaguar for her to resist, and she got her timing spot on. The Capybara made a mad dash for the river, but ultimately came up short, and despite an amazing effort, succumbed to the strength and sheer power of the Jaguar.
