To Crown or Not to Crown? (Dealing with a Cracked Tooth)

Crown the tooth? Or just fill it?

Deciding when to recommend a crown for a weak tooth is not always easy. So many factors come into play, such as the depth and extent of previous fillings, cracks, the occlusion, previous root canals and much more.

Here's one case I did recently. This is meant to be an interactive video - tell me your thought process for why you would or wouldn't recommend a crown in this case. I've intentionally left my thought process out, as to encourage others to chime in on what they would do, so we can all learn and have a discussion about cracks and crowns.
