Dentist Check Up: Her FIRST Dental Appointment.. (and the verdict) VLOG

So you've finally booked your child for their very first check up with the dentist! In this vlog, I show you, as parents, exactly what to expect during this dental appointment.

Pediatric dentistry is the discipline of dentistry that's all about kids. I'm a general dentist, and I treat both adults and children - and let me tell you, they behave very differently. Interestingly enough, how kids experience the dentist early in life really seems to impact the way they deal with dentistry as adults. Therefore, it's critical that the first few visits to the dentist are overwhelmingly positive.

Getting bad news at the dentist is never fun, so bringing in kids for their first dental visit as early as possible is always a good idea. As you'll see in the video, there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of and kids usually do exceedingly well :)
