Increase Low Trap Activation (3 Tips | Exercises)

Today I’m going to break down 3 tips to increase your lower trap activation. These three tips are based on three different research articles looking at the relative activation of the lower trapezius - which I’ll link down below. An exercise that is often utilized to help strengthen the lower trap is the prone horizontal arm abduction - or prone trap raise. We'll show how we can maximize this movement for the lower trap. You can take these three tips though and apply it to other similar movements.
