Energy regulator knocks back concerns over Victoria transmission line project
The Australian Energy Regulator has knocked back concerns from residents and others in Victoria over plans for a high-voltage transmission line project.
Western Victorian residents are campaigning for the project to be installed underground.
"I hate seeing people like this getting rolled over," said columnist Justin Smith.
“And yes it’s going to be a mess for them, I know they’re going to hate it.
"Personally I guess I would have liked to see them emerge victorious, but that ain’t the way it goes when little people come up against the government.”
