‘Sitting in a corner’: Labor has ‘no idea’ what to do on cost of living

Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie says the Albanese government has been “sitting in a corner” since the Voice referendum.

Ms Lambie says Australians continue to ask where the government went amid cost of living peril in the country.

“(They don’t) know what to do from here on in – that’s what it looks like,” Ms Lambie told Sky News Australia.

The Independent Senator called for the PM to get “on the ground” next year as Australians experience a cost of living and energy crisis.

In just a matter of weeks, Labor’s primary vote has fallen 4 per cent down to 31 per cent, trailing the Coalition’s 38 percentage points.
