Peter Dutton ‘living rent-free’ in Labor's heads
Australian Financial Review Political Editor Phillip Coorey says the Albanese government is trying to “carpet bomb” Peter Dutton because they now view him as a threat.
“I think he’s living rent-free in their heads,” Mr Coorey told Sky News Australia.
During a short press conference on Sunday, Manager of Government Business Tony Burke mentioned Peter Dutton 14 times.
Mr Coorey believes Dutton has had a “couple of wins” recently regarding the High Court decision on indefinite detention and the Prime Minister’s handling of the Chinese warship incident.
In just a matter of weeks, Labor’s primary vote has fallen 4 per cent down to 31 per cent, trailing the Coalition’s 38 percentage points.
