Italian culture shock experiences. 5 things that surprised me.

My Italian culture shock experiences when I first moved to Italy 11 years ago. These Italian customs took some getting used to even though my mind doesn't 100% accept most of them! Italy culture shock is purely perspective and it greatly depends on the individual and her/his ability to adapt to stepping outside the comfort zone. The purpose of this video is made to be taken with a grain of salt and it is not my intention at all to criticize these Italian customs. This video, like others I have made is merely for fun and entertainment. Also, I would like to point out that the birthday custom in my opinion is the opposite of how we do it in the USA. I mention this in today's video but I feel it needs repeating here as this is probably one of the biggest shocks for me since moving to Italy.
