1 Euro Homes in Italy. Is it worth it?

1 euro homes in Italy and the reality behind buying these unique properties. I wouldn't do it and I explain the reasons why in this video. Buying a house in Italy for 1 euro may seem like a real steal but like most things in life, there is always a catch. I present the pros and cons to buying property in Italy at such an insanely low cost and in an objective manner. That was my goal anyway!

Like most parts of Italian bureaucracy and its legal system there are always problems and complications that frequently arise. While I am not suggesting that anyone who buys homes for 1 euro in Italy is going to have nothing but problems, I have lived long enough in this country to know that there will be eventually be some minor issues to be dealt with. Hopefully not and anyone who wants to take on this adventure, I wish them the best of luck!

The best advice I would give anyone looking to do it would be to get as much accurate information as you possibly can and also I can guarantee you that at some point Italian will become essential. If you don't speak the language it will make the whole process more difficult. However, as long as you know someone who speaks Italian and equally important an Italian speaker who understands Italy real estate matters then plans can proceed. In bocca al lupo!!
