The Hip Thrust is THE Main Lift

Am I crazy? Shouldn’t the hip thrust be THE main lift? It builds the glutes the best, it’s well-suites for every body type, it’s easy to learn and progressively overload, and it’s the safest heavy lower body exercise there is.

Envision a world where the hip thrust was the #1 most popular exercise in existence - what would we see? We’d see bigger glutes, we’d still have muscular legs, but we’d see way fewer injuries. I love squats and deadlifts, but doing them progressively for decades takes its toll on the body.

At Glute Lab, we’re working with hundreds of clients month in and month out, and we’re running experiments and changing the way the world trains.

For some strange reason, some people are threatened by progress. But the wheels are in motion, and there’s no stopping the thrust.
