In this Facetime interview, I talk to the Atlanta based producer behind your favourite hits like “XO Tour Life”, “Bounce Back”, “Coordinate”, “No Bystanders”, “Wyclef Jean”, TM88. TM88 has been one of the lead members of trap producer group, 808Mafia, with Southside and more. We spoke with him ahead of his new release with Young Thug, Future, Southside, and Moneybagg Yo, “Blue Jean Bandit”, to discuss how the song came about, and transitioning to an artist that makes beats. He also spoke on the making of P2 on Lil Uzi Vert’s “Eternal Atake” album, how he discovered UK rapper, Lancey Foux, what ever happened to his collab EP with PARTYNEXTDOOR (Party at 8), the crazy story behind XO Tour Life taking place after a shooting at Fort Lauderdale airport, and how many songs Young Thug and Future can bang out in two nights.
