Shoulders & Arms Workout | Workout Wednesdays | Push Pull Legs Workout 3
Sup guys! This series follows my 6 day a week program, similar to a push pull legs split. Each workout will focus on a specific muscle group, with a little bit of something else at the end. The inverse day will focus on that second portion, with a little bit of the first workout's main focus at the end. For example, today is shoulders and arms, and its inverse will be an arms and shoulder day. This comes out of Athleanx's month 3 workout plan from his old school bodybuilding program.
Warmup on cardio of choice followed with dynamic upper body movements and lightweight work.
3 way plate press outs 120 reps
- Take a 25 pound plate, or a 45 pound plate. Press the plate out to your left, in front of you, and to the right of you 120 total times. That means 40 each direction.
SHOULDERS
Dumbbell Arnold Press - 3x10-12 last set drop set
Dumbbell High Pulls - 3x10-12 last set drop set
Super set
- Dumbbell Lateral Raises 3x10
- Dumbbell Front Raises 3x Failure
ARMS
Barbell Curls - 5x5
Barbell Close Grip Bench - 3x8-10
