Sidney needs your help!

Sidney was adopted from Orphans of the Storm as a puppy. This soulful hound mix with the sad eyes is now 13 years old.

Sidney has had skin problems for two to three years. Her person tried to care for her and took her to the vets, but the treatment was beyond her means.

In September of 2021, Orphans of the Storm's humane officer worked with the owner to surrender the dog, and the woman was charged with animal neglect.

The extensive treatment and care Star needed was beyond what Orphans of the Storm could offer at the time, and partner Paws Across Pittsburgh stepped up.

Paws found a foster home for Sidney who gave her the daily medicated baths.

Sidney found a home almost immediately but can't go home until she is healthy.

Recent allergy tests show that she is allergic to everything and needs an (expensive) super cocktail to try to make her comfortable.

We are still hoping they can turn her around.

She is a great girl.

The treatment has added up and we are hoping that animal lovers out there might be willing to donate to reimburse Paws Across Pittsburgh for past expenses, and future costs.
