COOPER IS HOME!

Here is his story.

Cooper was seen running along a lonely remote road in Plum Creek Township, Armstrong County, PA, on Nov. 17, 2022. He then eluded capture for five weeks.

With rain and sleet, temperatures dropping below zero, and two weeks of no sightings we had almost given up hope.

Then, on Dec. 23, Cooper reappeared and made friends with Snowball, a small fluffy white dog. The next day he followed Snowball into his home.

The humane policer officer transported Cooper to Orphans of the Storm in Rayburn Township on Christmas Eve where he has been cared for by staff and volunteers as he waited for the suspect to face charges.

Aaron Scott Renwick, 25, of South Bend Township faces charges of animal cruelty and neglect.

Thanks to the support of our community, this dog went from hopeless to having a wonderful life ahead of him.
