★ローバー ミニ　クーパーに関して
アレック イシゴニスの手によって1959年に誕生した。
「大人4人が無理なく乗れ、十分な性能と優れた経済性を両立させること」
を主眼に開発されたFFモデルの元祖である。

サスペンションはフロントがウイッシュボーン、リヤがトレーリングアームで、スプリングは金属ではなくラバーコーンを使用する。

スポーティモデルのクーパーはフロントフォグランプ、ホワイトペイントルーフ、ボンネットストライプなどを装備し、運転席エアバッグと4名の乗車定員分の3点式シートベルトを装備している。

搭載される水冷直列4気筒OHV8バルブエンジンは、1271ccの排気量から、最高出力62ps(46kW)/5700rpm、最大トルク 9.6kg・m(94.1N・m)/3900rpmを発揮した。
