Easy Vegan Waffles

This is my go to recipe for vegan waffles. I love that this recipe is quick and easy to make and the waffles turn out light and crisp every time. The batter also works for pancakes!

recipe:

❁ ingredients:
2 cups soy or almond milk
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup vanilla sugar
1/4 tsp salt

❁ instructions:
Combine the unsweetened plant milk and apple cider vinegar, stir together. Set aside for 5 to 10 minutes. After this time, the milk mixture will thicken and curdle just like buttermilk. Add the oil. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients and mix together until no lumps remain. Heat your waffle iron and bake the waffles for 3 to 4 minutes. Or add some oil to your pan and make some pancakes. Serve with fruit or syrup. This recipe makes about 9 waffles or pancakes. If you’re not going to eat your waffles straight away, place them on a cooling rack so they don’t lose their crispiness. Enjoy!
