Conversation 031: Documentary photographer & filmmaker Hannah Price

I was first introduced to fine art photographer & filmmaker Hannah Price’s work during a virtual artist talk, last fall. I immediately was taken by her use of deep shadows, use of film, and the subjects investigated with the lens.
Subjects in which dive into relationships, race politics, social perception, and mis-perception. Accomplished is a light word for Hannah’s achievements, and is internationally known for her project “City of Brotherly Love” (2009-2012).
With that in mind Hannah & I wax poetics regarding photography, New Haven, books, justice or lack there of, and much more!
