Conversation 024: Multiple-award winning Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician Sam Roberts

Sam Roberts is a well-received musician and songwriter who hails from Montreal. The end
of last year saw the Sam Roberts Band releasing the new album “All Of Us,” which was a breath of fresh air in the realm of 2020.

Also showcasing his successful side project The Anywhere Gang in 2020, he collaborated with a Canadian all-star lineup alongside Chris Murphy (Sloan), Dave Monks (Tokyo Police Club) and Menno Veersteeg (Hollerado). Even in a time of a global pandemic, Roberts couldn’t help but do what he loves; write and create music. It’s in his blood. His honest and intimate songwriting has helped him to build connections across the globe as he constantly creates music on his own terms.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Sam right before the holidays, for a thought provoking conversation regarding his craft, process, history and future.
