Ok, Today I want to see if it’s possible to make some instant mac and cheese from scratch. I want to make the cheese powder that you can commonly find in a box. The result was pretty satisfying, and honestly, I think I nailed it. So today let’s do it. Alright, so the first thing we are going to need to do is to make some powdered cheese. For you flavor loyalists, this is going to seem very familiar.

4 oz (100 g) of Cheddar cheese
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp (3 grams) salt
1 teaspoon Annato Seed Powder (optional)
2 tablespoons (15 grams) corn starch
6 cups (1.25 L) water
1/2 cup (75 grams) macaroni
2-4 tablespoons of butter (yolo)
1/4 cup (60 mL) of milk
