DO WE REGRET GETTING MARRIED YOUNG!

Hey LITJAMFAM! We haven't done a sit-down talk video in forever so we owed you one. The topic is the difficulties of getting married at a young age. We always talk about how it's hard to make ends meet on one income, living in New York (now New Jersey) and making time for each other.

Getting married isn't easy. Living life with another person, in any relationship it's going to cause some friction, stress, and figuring things out. Whether you have a marriage between a man and a woman, same-sex marriage, an interracial marriage, LGBTQ marriage, straight marriage, whatever - there will be problems that you'll have to deal with. Sometimes, things don't work out and people have to separate. Thankfully, we haven't ever needed to do that. We can almost claim the title of being expert relationship advisors and provide relationship advice on a lot of questions because we've both gone through a lot since we got together. We believe that we didn't need to much marriage advice and figured out a lot of marriage problems on our own. As a result, we have a successful marriage and we've learned to communicate so much better now. We can share our tips and secrets for a successful marriage even though we are still so young! Sometimes, it's useful to provide marriage advice for newlyweds, we were there not long ago. We know a lot of women watch our channel, so Avri does her best to provide marriage advice for women. We dated for a while before getting married so dating advice is another thing we can talk about. What do men want? What do women want? How do you find the happy middle ground? What do men find attractive in women? What do women find attractive in men? Don't forget, we met online on a dating app. We also provide advice for dating online!

Money is always an issue. When we started dating, it was not easy to figure things out, especially since Simas made $10/hour back then while Avri had some part-time jobs here and there. Rent was cheaper, yes, but we had to live in a rough neighborhood in Jersey City at the time. Lack of money causes a lot of problems: living in bad neighborhoods, being relegated to a lower socioeconomic status and dealing with a lot of other problems.

Part of not having money is living in bad neighborhoods. We lived in Jersey City, the Bronx and Manhattan, mostly in undesirable areas, with lots of crime and difficult living conditions. Living in New York and living in New Jersey, you will see the difference between the haves and have-nots. They are wonderful places to live in if you have money but not always the case for those who aren't rich.

Another issue we dealt with early on was immaturity. We are still somewhat immature but we were only 19 and 23 when we met, and we were only 22 and 26 when we got married. A lot of what we've gone through has been a growing process, together, maturing together.
