Just because something is “common” doesn’t mean that it will hurt any less. Most likely you will lose a pet in your lifetime, that won’t make it hurt any less. Most likely you will experience the loss of a parent or guardian in your lifetime, that won’t make it hurt any less. my point is that people keep telling me how common pregnancy loss is. And while it’s nice to know that I’m not alone and there is an army of women who have been through this dark road as well, it doesn’t make it hurt any less. If you have experienced pregnancy loss and are mentally able to share today, please comment below how many pregnancy loss’s you have gone through. I want others to see they are not alone because this is NOT TALKED ABOUT READILY. So many of you have messaged me that you have had miscarriages but never shared with friends and family out of shame. But I also want people to understand that just because this is “common” it in no way makes it any easier and you are able to grieve your loss at your pace no matter how far along you were 🫶 I’m going to be sharing resources in my stories later today bc I was given nothing by the hospital or OB office on how to navigate these back to back pregnancy loss’s mentally.
