First Boat Of The Season, Neah Bay Arrives Duluth MN(4K)

The Neah Bay arrived Duluth MN at 11:21 Am on March 23, 2022, and was the first vessel to enter Duluth but didn't trigger the first lift from the Aerial Lift Bridge. The Hollyhock did, and was originally supposed to enter the Duluth ship before the Neah Bay but had trouble breaking through an ice chunk, so the Hollyhock backed out to let the Neah Bay break through. Once it did both vessels then passed through the canal to free up the ice in the harbor to start up the 2022 shipping season.
