A Unique View, The Mesabi Miner Departs Duluth

The Mesabi Miner was built in 1977 by the American Steamship Company of Lorain Ohio. Measures 1,004 Feet long, 105 Feet wide, 50 in depth, has a maximum carrying capacity of 63,000 tons, the Mesabi Miner is powered by two Pielstick 16PC2-2V-400 Diesel engines giving her a rated horsepower of 8,000 bhp which gives her a top speed of 15.5 Mph.
The Mesabi Miner has had the same name since launch.
The Mesabi Miner departed June 18, 2020 around 2:45 Pm, I was Filming.
