GUITAR PLAYTHROUGH - And the bullshit goes on - The Wildhearts

A song title so apt for the world today that it could have been written this afternoon by the flame-haired songwriting Jedi master himself.

For those that don't know, The Wildhearts knew how to do B-sides better than anyone else. So much so they ruined the idea of buying singles for the rest of my life.

CD's packed with 3 essential brand new songs that were often as good if not better than the album tracks, the singles were something to be treasured as their own entity. Some of the most beloved Wildhearts songs sat on the B-sides - 29 x the Pain, girlfriend clothes, beautiful thing you....it just goes on and on.

This was the B side to Greetings from Shitsville originally I believe, I could be wrong. Hence the vinyl being brown coloured, between the two tracks, that's a lot of shit.

Lyrically in incendiary form regarding the spat with his label, this was a repurposed song originally called Just Stay, which I have a rather lovely bootleg of that sits in my collection.

The earlier Wildhearts stuff was really tricky to play on guitar, Ginger and CJ really bashing out the chords and riff work, I gave this one a shot and hopefully it gives a good idea of how to play it.

I do screw one bit up massively, so yeah, that happened :D
