Share the shocking story published simultaneously by The Washington Post and The New York Post on January 6, 2023. From reports in The Washington Post and The New York Post, I learned that two of Trader Joe's dark chocolates contained excessive levels of lead and cadmium: the “Dark Chocolate 72% Cacao” bar and the “Dark Chocolate Lover’s Chocolate 85% Cacao” bar. Besides Trader Joe's, there are other top brands of dark chocolate that have the same problem. This was specifically reported in the December 2022 issue of Consumer Reports.
