Share our travel experience in Naxos, an island that is not well-known in Greece but is especially suitable for truly experiencing Greek life. Naxos is a Greek island in the South Aegean, the largest of the Cyclades Island group. It has a lively harbor town, breathtaking sunsets, stunning beaches, majestic mountains, ancient churches, traditional villages, productive farms, and hospitable people. It was my favorite island on my trip to Greece. The main attraction on the island is the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the best place to watch the sunset over the Aegean Sea. We went three times and watched the sunset twice.
