i carry your heart with me (In her Shoes)
This is a wonderful use of a poem in a movie. At the end of the film, after showing the troublesome relationship between Rose (Toni Colette) and Maggie, her light-hearted sister (Cameron Diaz), Maggie reads this poem by e.e. cummings at Rose's wedding showing her two things: she had made an effort to become a better person (she had been portrayed as dyslexic, with difficulties to read), but especially, she loves her sister.
After the wedding, when they bid farewell, echoes of the poem illustrate the new relationship between the two sisters.
