Improve Knee Extension With This Simple Mobility Drill
Most of the time when we talk about knee pain we think of how stiffness in the knee prevents full flexion and creates a multitude of problems. However, one aspect of the stiffness that is sometimes overlooked and not talked about as much is the loss of knee extension. This is common to people after an ACL injury or anyone with a bakers cyst and it can causes serious muscle atrophy in the quadriceps if left unattended. Finding ways to restore the mobility can be a bit trick so I wanted to show you an exercise that is quite effective but also not too aggressive to use so it does not create any irritation or further inflammation.
Obviously there is a ton of other stuff you will need to do in conjunction with this exercise but this will give you a good starting point.
