Womens Fitness Tip: Lounge room workout for winter
Finding ways to workout when the weather is cold, dark and wet outside requires creativity and some planning. In this video we show you some really easy and very effective exercises to do in your lounge room with no equipment required.
With the weather getting colder and the short days it is easy to just snuggle up on the couch and become the couch potato. The key here is to use exercises that utilize many muscle groups at once meaning you wont need to do many exercises for a start, saving you lots of time. But also because they are the more functional and effective exercises to help you move better in life. Too many people focus on building strength using single muscle movements which creates dysfunction with movements and will ultimately lead to injury and pain. By using some of these simple exercises we show you here you will not become one of our rehab clients and will become that toned, athletic person who everyone wants to be like.
I must also remind you here that we show you only resistance training exercises and not any cardio type exercises for a reason. That is because the secret to losing weight and toning up is to add muscle. You need to have a great nutrtion program and also reduce your stress for you to truly achieve your goal but the exercise component really comes down to how much muscle you can add and how fast you can do it.
