Calls for government to do more to shut down anti-Israel protest before violence erupts
Strategic Analysis Australia Director Peter Jennings has called on the Australian government to take a more direct leadership role to shut down anti-Israel protests before violence erupts.
“This is going to end in violence if these protests continue," Mr Jennings told Sky News Sharri Markson.
"If the student activists start to get more and more vocal and angrier something is going to lead to violence here.
“If the government doesn’t step in take a more direct leadership role to prevent this situation from further detreating.
"And using the police force to enforce the law in a way that's more vigorous than we’ve seen since October 7.”
