'Biggest public infrastructure failure': Calls for Paradise Dam to be fixed

Nationals MP Keith Pitt has deemed Queensland’s Paradise Dam the “biggest public infrastructure failure in Australia’s history”.

“And the spin is about working hard, saying, ‘oh it’s only deferred, it’s deferred’,” Mr Pitt told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Well it’s not deferred to year two or year three or year four or year five – it’s just completely deferred right out.

“We need that dam fixed, we need that money in the budget and it is an absolute disgrace they’ve tried to spin their way out of this.”
