Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day are just around the corner. I am so excited to share my special dish "Golden Rose Spring Rolls" with all of you for the celebration ~ adding a taste of romance for Valentine's Day. Hope you like it too😊🧡

今年的华人新年和情人节非常靠近,我便创了这道"金玫瑰春卷"非常适合当新年前菜,也有情人节浪漫的味道。

Ingredients:
Peeled raw prawns 300g | 去壳的虾 300克
Spring roll pastry | 春卷皮
Fish sauce 1 tsp | 鱼露 1茶匙
Oyster sauce 2 tsp | 蚝油 2茶匙
Pure Sesame oil 1 tsp | 纯麻油 1茶匙
White pepper powder ¼ tsp | 白胡椒粉 ¼茶匙
Corn flour 1 tsp | 玉米粉 1茶匙
Egg white | 蛋白

01:08 | Repeatedly beating the minced prawn for about 8 times until it turns sticky, this will make it taste better
02:18 | About 1 and a half teaspoon of prawn filling to be used, don't add too much, otherwise the shape of the rose will not look good
03:33 | Roses should not be wrapped too tightly
03:48 | The end of the rose petal must be glued tightly with egg white to prevent opening during deep frying
04:20 | Don't overheat the oil to prevent roses getting burnt. Ideally, frying on medium heat for about 6-8 minutes
04:47 | Be sure to drain the oil from the roses, otherwise the oil will remain in the rose petals and it will taste oily

💐FYI: I used white baking paper, carrots, bamboo skewers and lettuce to make the golden rose bouquet😊

01:08 | 反复拍打8次左右,摔打至起胶的虾吃起来会比较有弹性
02:18 | 虾肉馅1个半茶匙左右,不要放太多,不然包起来的玫瑰不漂亮
03:33 | 玫瑰不要包太过紧,要稍微松一点点,但也不可以太过松。
03:48 | 玫瑰尾部要粘紧,不然在炸的时候会开起。
04:20 | 下油锅时又不要太过热,不然春卷皮很容易炸黑。中火炸6-8分钟左右。
04:47 | 一定要把玫瑰的油沥干,不然油会残留在玫瑰花瓣中,吃起来会油腻。
05:33 | 可以做成金玫瑰花束或者放在美美的便当盒送给情人哦🧡
💐我用白色烘培纸,胡萝卜,竹签,青菜做这束花😊
