How To Make BAGUETTES | STEP-BY-STEP Guide on how to make NO-KNEAD🥖🥖🥖 (only 4 ingredients, NO SUGAR)

Making baguettes from scratch may sound very intimidating for a lot of people.
In this video, I'll show you step-by-step how you can easily make this traditional French bread with minimal effort (no kneading).

INGREDIENTS (makes 4 shorter or 2 longer ones):
• 500 g (3 cups + 2 tbsp) bread flour or all purpose flour
• 350 g (1.5 cup) lukewarm water (FRESH yeast  ca. 35 °C /95 °F or DRY yeast ca. 43 °C/110 °F)
• 21 g (0.6 oz) fresh yeast or 7 g (2 tsp) active dry yeast
• 9 g (1.5 tsp) salt

TOOLS:
• Whisk
• Spatula
• Mixing bowl
• Kitchen towel
• Bench scraper
• Bread lame or sharp knife
• Baking stone or baking tray
• Oven safe container (for water)

PREPARATION:
1) Add yeast to lukewarm water and mix till dissolved. Wait few minutes till the mixture becomes foamy/bubbly (to activate the yeast)
2) In a large mixing bowl, mix flour and salt till it’s evenly distributed
3) Make a well in the middle of your mixing bowl and pour in the activated yeast mixture
4) Take a spatula and mix everything. If it’s too dry, add a little bit extra water (1 tbsp at a time)
5) The dough will be quite sticky but try to shape it into a ball with your hands. It doesn’t need to be a perfect ball
6) Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it proof for 45-60 min in a warm place until it’s doubled in size
7) Pre-heat your oven at 230°C / 450°F (with baking stone in it, if you have one). Place an oven-safe container with some water on the lowest rack in your oven (this will create a steamy environment which will result in a crunchier crust)
8) Line a baking tray (big enough for the baguettes) with parchment paper
9) When dough has doubled in size, punch the air out. Then transfer the dough onto a floured working surface (a benchscraper will come in handy for this)
10) Cut your dough in # equal portions (depends on your preference) and shape each of them into rectangles
11) Starting from the longest end, roll up each rectangle tightly into a log. Then seal the seem and roll out into your desired length
12) Put them seem side down onto your baking tray and cover with a kitchen towel. They need to proof in a warm place for another 30-60 min until doubled in size
13) When your oven is ready, make a few slashes on the baguettes with a lame or sharp knife and quickly transfer the baguettes into the oven
14) Bake for min. 20 minutes (for a lighter crust) or a few minutes longer until the baguettes feature a golden brown crunchy crust
15) Let the baguettes cool off on a cooling rack
