At the Public Audit Committee debate, Tory Brian Whittle, went through the list of failures by the SNP regarding the ferry fiasco.

He also targeted the former First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, saying: 'A First Minister who somehow couldn't recall vital information in meeting when giving evidence to the committee, over 50 times she couldn't recall let's not forget.'

Richard Leonard addressed Holyrood as convenor of the Public Audit Committee to debate the committee's conclusions and recommendations in the Public Audit Committee's 1st Report, New Vessels for the Clyde and the Hebrides – Arrangements to Deliver Vessels 801 and 802.
