Murder in the Granite City: New true crime podcast explores the murder of Brenda Page

A NEW true crime podcast has been released delving into the brutal murder of Aberdeen scientist Brenda Page. It took cops more than 40 years to make an arrest on the killing, which became one of Britain’s longest-running unsolved murders.

Now, as the murderer is behind bars for the first time, Scottish Sun award-winning journalist Ruth Warrander investigates the twists and turns of the case in Murder in the Granite City.

Ruth said: "Growing up up in Aberdeenshire, I’d always been aware of Dr Brenda Page’s murder, having heard about it from relatives and family friends. "As you often find with unsolved cases, rumours spread like wildfire, with everyone in the city having their own theory about who they believed was behind her brutal killing. "So I jumped at the chance when I was approached to carry out my own investigation into the murder case which, for decades, was steeped in secrets, sex and scandal — and cast a long shadow over my home city."
