Lorna Slater has 'exchanged environmentalism for nationalism' with her DRS statement says Tory

At Holyrood today Lorna Slater made a ministerial statement on the Deposit Return Scheme.

The statement was in reply to UK Government which announced over the weekend that in order for the Deposit Return Scheme to proceed, it can only include PET plastic bottles, and aluminum and steel cans, meaning glass will be excluded.

Maurice Golden told Lorna Slater that her statement should have been delivered by the Minister for Independence, saying 'It is solely designed to pick a fight with the UK government
