How to make Egg-free Chocolate Cake | no butter W/ chocolate frosting

My two toddlers are extremely allergic to eggs so it is scary to let them eat any cake. This recipe was inspired by my two little girls, who can now enjoy egg free, yet delicious cake!

Ingredients for the Chocolate Cake

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
6 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon
1 cup cool water

Ingredients for the chocolate frosting

1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp almond or vanilla extract
3 teaspoons of milk
3 tablespoons of butter @ room temperature
