Encounter With a Great White Shark in San Diego California

On the morning of April 25th, 2008, near Solana Beach, California, a group of triathletes, including 66-year-old retiree Dave Martin, set out for a swim in the waters. Little did they know that danger lurked beneath the surface.

A massive 17-foot great white shark, driven by its natural instincts, approached the area, sensing the vibrations of its potential prey.

With lightning speed, the shark emerged from the depths, mouth wide open, ready to feed. In a tragic turn of events, Dave found himself entangled in a life-threatening encounter with the predator.

Despite the brave efforts of his friends, they were unable to save him. The tragic incident left everyone on the beach in shock and sorrow as they witnessed the unfolding tragedy.
