With everything going on in the world. I figured now would be a good time to go over the best jobs, jigs, and ways to earn money for teenagers during this time. Now, these jobs aren’t going to make you rich like Jeff Bezos but they can help you achieve whatever you are wanting to buy.
Waiter
As a waiter is an earning potential is a lot higher than other jobs you can do as a teenager. Most people are tied to a set wage. While being a waiter your potential to earn more depends on how well of a waiter you are. For instance, if you give your best effort you can earn high tips. The only downside is the social side. A lot of teenagers nowadays are really shy and don’t want to interact with people. And trust me, I was the same way when I was a teenager. Now I know what you are thinking, how am I going to be a waiter with restaurants not being open. Well, most restaurants are open now.
Tutor
A lot of teenagers will have extensive experience with taking advanced tests like the SAT, ACT, AP Exams, etc. With students having to take those every year, they want to do well hence this is where you come in. You can easily ask younger friends if they need help with "X" exam and then charge them money. And if you don’t feel comfortable meeting with the person in person, then you can zoom call or Skype.
Pet Sitting
If you know anyone who has a pet and travels a lot, chances are they are going to be dropping them off at a kennel and those kennel fees are absurd. With most kennels charging $25 - $45 a night. You can offer to pet sit for a fraction of the cost and still make a ton of money. Once you do it for someone, they are very likely to reuse you (if you do a good job) and even recommend you to other people.
Delivery Service Driver
If you have are over 18 you can participate with uber eats or postmates. Of course, providing that you have your car or bike in some areas. If you are not 18 you can still be a delivery driver for local restaurants. With everything going on in the world more and more people are ordering food delivery. So why not capitalize on this trend?
Babysitter
With more kids staying home and doing online school it gives you the perfect amount of time to babysit. And you can multitask while babysitting to do other schoolwork or other stuff you need to do. While a lot of parents are now working from home. Some jobs just can’t be worked from home such as working in the medical industry, entertainment industry, etc. So they need someone to watch there kids. That is where you come in.
