Restaurant with ROBOT waiters: Hajime in Bangkok (Thailand)
The global trend of the automation has changed many spheres of human activity, lives and the way of doing business all over the globe.
But, while some companies and businesses use automation, robots and computer technologies to boost their productivity and profits, the unusual restaurant named Hajime in Bangkok is using robots to attract new visitors and entertain the younger crowd.
The Hajime is all about technology, once arrived, you get to pick your own table and start placing an order with the help of an intuitive computer system via a touch screen. There are many traditional dishes, alongside plentiful meat and seafood options to choose from.
Just 20 minutes after the order, the food is being brought by one of two super-cute robot waiters in samurai costumes. These robots are sliding down the U-shaped tracks, which enables them to both bring new dishes and carry the empty ones back to the kitchen.
Still, the food is being prepared by professional chefs, not the robots but maybe sometime in the future this task by me handled by high-tech computers too.
Hajime is a pretty cool and unusual restaurant to visit, while on a tour to Thailand. If you would like to learn more about great places to check out and unusual, fun or even weird restaurants all over the globe, please check out this video presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKLIV5_jAjY
