DRIVERLESS concepts by Mercedes, Audi & Google as cars of the future

Recent technological advancements and decisions made by car manufacturers have proved that driverless cars are not a thing of the future anymore – there are many full functional prototypes already and some of them will be available for sale in the recent years.

But the experts say that the development of this idea and driverless technology will not come to a halt yet – car manufacturers want to turn such cars into a luxury resting place, as the vehicle will handle most of the driving, the passengers will have a better opportunity to rest, enjoy digital content, which will be projected on the screens and windows, or take care of business.

The best examples of driverless cars were presented by Google, Audi (the A7 can both take over the driving, be called out from a parking spot or handle the parking), BMW and Mercedes (Mercedes F 015 is a luxury futuristic driverless car, which shows the company’s understanding of a car of the future).

Driverless technology is just one function the cars of the future will have. Experts say that they will become smarter and more autonomous.
