All-New 2024 Lexus GX 💪 Bigger, more powerful, and first update in nearly 14 years

A new legend is born as Lexus unveils the all-new, completely redesigned 2024 Lexus GX.

The 2024 GX shares the GA-F platform introduced on the current-generation LX 600, the all-new GX will also be offered in two powertrain options to meet the needs of customers.

At launch, GX will come standard with a highly capable and efficient twin-turbocharged 3.4 L V6 engine paired with a 10-speed Direct Shift Automatic Transmission.

The twin-turbo V6 produces an improved 349 hp (260 kW), outperforming the previous generation V8’s 301 hp, and torque output also improves to a massive 479 pound-feet (650 Nm). A hybrid powertrain will be available in the U.S. at a later date.

The 2024 GX will be offered in six grades: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, and all-new for Lexus, Overtrail, and Overtrail+.

Lexus will assemble the new GX at the Tahara plant in Japan, just like the past models. It will go on sale in the United States in early 2024.

We haven't heard anything on price, but we expect the 2024 GX to go up a fair amount compared with the old model's price range of $59,000 to $70,000.

Expect a starting price of around $60,000, with the most rugged Overtrail models stretching close to $80,000.
