The KB Around the World is a dynamic exercise that engages the core while focusing on rotational movement. In this drill, you'll be standing and swinging a kettlebell around your body in a controlled motion, targeting core strength and stability.
HOW TO:
Starting Position: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the kettlebell by the horn with both hands in front of you.
Engage Your Core: Tighten your core muscles to stabilize your spine.
Begin the Rotation: Initiate the movement by swinging the kettlebell to your right side, around your back, and then to your left side. The motion should be controlled and fluid.
Complete the Circle: As the kettlebell reaches your left side, continue the motion around your body to complete a full circle. Keep your core engaged throughout.
Reverse the Rotation: Now, reverse the motion, swinging the kettlebell back to the right side and around your body.
Maintain Control: Focus on a controlled and deliberate movement. Avoid using momentum to swing the kettlebell.
Recommended Reps: Start with 8-10 reps in each direction and adjust based on your comfort level.
TIP: Keep your core engaged throughout the entire movement to ensure stability and maximize the benefits.
