Count On Me - Jefferson Starship (1978) Remastered FLAC Audio

"Count On Me" was the 2nd track on Jefferson Starship's fifth album, Earth, which was released in the winter of 1978. 2nd equalizer vid for a track from this great album (I rate 2/3rd's of the songs at a 5!) after "Love Too Good" last week: https://youtu.be/UcBtsmN6P6Y, in addition to the one for my full-blown production ;-) for my very favorite track from the album "Show Yourself" https://youtu.be/G0t2k4VK9JQ wow...how timely this song has become, listen to it now if you've not heard it and wonder where your country went).

Not feeling too energetic for videos at the moment, so as per my usual during such times, I'm just uploading a few more of my equalizer style videos....although I have to use AE to get the effect, I don't have to worry as much about filling the video with various imagery since the equalizer and background potions can be used to fill in space....on the positive side, if you're like me, I always find it interesting to watch equalizer visualizations (if you don't have anything better to look at!)...and the audio should be pretty good as the tracks (there will be a couple/few others from the album) will be sourced from FLAC versions of the 1997 remaster of the album which Dr. Lossless tests rate as Average DR 13, Minimum DR 12 and Maximum DR 14...so this remaster was not brick-walled and the dynamic range is intact. I'd been thinking of updating my old video for "Show Yourself" and then was recently reading a thread at the Hoffmann audio forums, where I was happy to read comments from fans who weren't ashamed to say they preferred Jefferson Starship over Jefferson Airplane....I've never been able to get into the Airplane's stuff, and I'm not a fan of the work that was produced when Jefferson Starship became just Starship.....but the middle period has some really great things and I love the Earth album in particular. Thanks for watching!

***A few words about the album copied from the description for my old video for "Show Yourself" https://youtu.be/G0t2k4VK9JQ (which I'm thinking updating at the end of the string of equalizer vids from the album)*** In a year filled with amazing albums (several of my all-time favorite albums came from 1978), Earth was one of the ones that I played the most. It remains by far my favorite thing the band ever did. I remember it being fairly savaged by the critics of the time and checking out a few today, I see that it's not fared any better since it's release and most reviews are still unfortunately pretty critical of it. From Allmusic.com..." has neither the melodies, hooks or style to make a second rewrite of Red Octopus tolerable. Earth has the form, but not the content, of Jefferson Starship's masterpiece -- it just sits there, lacking either hard rockers or sappy ballads. Arguably, it's the group's low point of the '70s." Wow....I couldn't disagree more! Loaded with great melodies, hooks and style....it ROCKS.....and it IS a masterpiece!

[Lyrics]
Precious love
I'll give it to you
Blue as the sky and deep in the
Eyes of a love so true
Beautiful face
You make me feel
Lite on the stairs and lost in the
Air of a love so real
And you can count on me girl
You can count on my love
Woman
You can count on me baby
You can count on my love to see
You through
Emerald eyes and China perfume
Caught in the wheel and lost in
The feel of a love so soon
Ruby lips
You make my song
Into the night and saved by the lite
Of a love so strong
See you through
Oh
You can count on me girl
You can count on my love
