‘Dead in the water’: Sussan Ley calls out Anthony Albanese’s character
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s description of himself as a conviction politician is “dead in the water”, says Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley.
Her remarks come as the Prime Minister calls for bipartisanship on religious freedom.
“This is extraordinary – it relates to Anthony Albanese’s character,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia.
“He made promises to the Australian people – he said he was a conviction politician.
“That conviction politician description of himself is dead in the water.
“He hasn’t shown us the legislation.”
