Unemployment rate will make RBA ‘very nervous’

The latest unemployment rate will make the RBA “very nervous”, says Independent Economist Warren Hogan.

The rate fell to 3.7 per cent in February.

Mr Hogan said this figure is “really strong”.

“It’s going to make the RBA very nervous,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.

“It makes them look very wise in not ruling anything in or out because this narrative that the next move in rates is down is no done deal.”
