What I Eat In A Day + At Home Strength Workout For Women | How I Stay Fit & Healthy After 40
Today i'll be taking you through a typical full body strength session I do when I'm training at home, then from breakfast to dinner, I'm taking you along to show you what I eat in a day! Hope you enjoy this video :)
FULL BODY STRENGTH SESSION
** Where needed, substitute barbell exercises for dumbbells
1. Dumbbell Incline Chest Press 3 x 12
2. Barbell Front Squats 3 x 12
3. Dumbbell Push Press 3 x 12
4. Barbell Elevated Stiff Leg Deadlift 3 x 12
5. Pullups 3 x Max Reps
6. Plate Windscreen Wipers 3 x 12 -20
WHAT I EAT IN A DAY
Breakfast- Carrot Cake Oats
Oats
Handful of grated carrot
Handful of sultanas
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Mid Morning Snack - Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie
1 Cup of water
1 Frozen Banana
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter

Dinner - Satay Chicken Skewers with Peanut Sauce
FOR THE CHICKEN
1-1/2 pounds chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
3-4 Thai peppers
1 shallot, chopped
1 tsp lemongrass paste
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
2 tbsp fish sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp chopped cilantro for garnish
Bamboo Skewers
FOR THE PEANUT SAUCE
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp chilli-garlic sauce
