When your wooden chair rungs become loose and the chair unstable, your choices typically are to get it fixed or throw it out. In this video, we'll show you how to do a quick and long lasting repair in a few short minutes. a loose rung can make a chair unstable. But by imitating age old timber framing methods, a simple wooden peg in the right place will bring the chair back to its former usefulness.
In this video we only needed a hammer, a soft mallet, a pair of shears to cut an 1/8th inch wood dowel and some wood glue.
